Meet Coach Kelly Meenan

Kelly Meenan has been loving the sport of field hockey since she was in 5th grade. She graduated from Ephrata High School, in Lancaster County, in 2009. Kelly was a four year varsity player and a captain her senior year. Outside of her high school team, Kelly played for the Lancaster/Lebanon Keystone team from 2006-2008 and the Mid-State indoor team from 2008-2009. 


After high school, Kelly played for Messiah College in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania from 2009-2012. Within her four years, Messiah College had four MAC Common Wealth Championships and four NCAA Division III tournament appearances, one resulted as runner up national champions. Kelly earned First and Second Team All Conference and NFCHA Second Team All Region during her four years there. 


Kelly moved to Pittsburgh in 2016 with her husband Brian. Her love for field hockey and desire for increasing the sport’s awareness fuels her desire to coach. She began coaching as an assistant middle school coach for Peters Township in 2017. In 2018, Kelly was an assistant varsity coach helping Peters Township win the WPIAL Championship.
